Minister Anthony Drummond

Minister Anthony Drummond graduated from Northeastern Academy in 1978 and wanting to travel, he enlisted in the United States Navy. Minister Drummond served his country for seven years as a Radioman, Second Class Petty Officer aboard the Naval Destroyer USS Obrien DD 975, and the Guided Missile Frigate USS George Philip FFG 12. Anthony Drummond is married to Theresa Drummond and is the father of two daughters named Autumn and Thalia Drummond.

Minister Drummond is an Ordained Elder in the Seventh Day Adventist Church with over 20 years of experience in the gospel ministry and has faithfully served in the various following capacities: Inner City Ministries Leader, Youth Pastor, Assistant Pastor, and Evangelist. Minister Drummond served as a Youth Pastor under Pastor Cleveland Hobdy III and Pastor Robert Edwards at the 31st Street SDA Church in San Diego, CA. In addition, Minister Drummond has also served as a Youth Pastor/Assistant Pastor under Pastor David Richardson Jr at the Oak Park SDA Church in San Diego (Presently called “The New Hope SDA Church).  Minister Drummond is not only an engaging and dynamic preacher of the gospel, he also passionately believes that we have been saved by God for the purpose of living our lives in service to Christ. Minister Drummond has preached and held crusades in various locations such as San Diego and San Bernardino, California, Salt Lake City, Utah, and General Santos City, Philippines before coming back to New Hope SDA Church. New Hope welcomes him back.
